ABOUT US
Jackson M. Hensley founded the Hensley Gallery in 1960. In the early years the gallery relocated on several occasions, originally opening in New York, before moving to New Orleans, Connecticut and then finally settling in Taos, New Mexico where it has been since 1967.
Just some of the nationally known artist's to have exhibited their works with the gallery during the 60's, 70's, and 80's were Galust Berberian, Rudy Colao, Dean Cornwell, Doug Dawson, Frank Hoffman, Louis Glanzman, Richard Goetz, John Groth, Albert Handell, Frank Mason, Jacques Maroger, Tom Nicholas, Gustav Rehberger, Don Ruf, Ben Stahl, Paul Strisik, and Alan Wolton to name a few. Others who have followed in more recent years include Kaye Franklin, Paul Friske, Douglas Osa, Mark Pettit, Dan Rippe, Cyn McCurry-Snider, Trent Tate and Linda Walker. All have contributed greatly to the gallery and the art world in general.
